and a smidgin of trust
are the key ingredients
in this cake we make for us
roll out the pastry
remove all the lumps
a still flat surface
free from mindful humps
simply lay it in the dish
and toodle doo the oven
while I prepare the fruit
and all the love is given
When you find it hard
to follow a complex recipe
just remember one simple thing
it's the love that makes it tasty
