Goat and Ladybird

21/04/2003

A shodow of a goat away
bleating in silence of tall dismay
his bell tinkle rattle on the lonely hill
waiting for marmite and chocalote fill

In irony and ironing
careful not too starchy
smart goat waiting
for parties inviting

poor goat stood for 17 year
waiting in vain and stopped by fear
to call the ladybird on the phone
she so beautiful and also alone

now then now then, that's a bit long
but in goat years he can't be wrong
coz ladybird still patient till the very end
no need for longing, just lemonade

so when lemon season came again
he brewed and brewed before the rain
still summer when he gave the call
Ladybird answered them all

so in yellow fizzy frenzy burp
goat hair little wings and short skirt
lady bird buzzing and goat mascara
Oh my God what a palava!
