Is a butterfly still beautiful
when it's wings are thick with oil
can a bird sing it's morning song
without the lungs to call
who are you when you're alive
without your burdened head
can you see the golden sunset
from underneath the ground
do you like to listen to the singer
when her voice makes no sound
are you a fairy or are you a saint
why did you come to this place
and when your sails billow
with the driving nature's wind
can you steer your course to follow
to the heart place of your mind
will you blossom like a flower
or shrivel to the ground for winter
