I thought I'd put my pen to paper

I thought I'd try and help you through
By putting pen to paper
The times of dark that have fallen on you
That I wish to help make brighter
Of the time when I've been in shadow
And the clouds had blocekd the sun
Whichever way I turned
I couldn't talk to anyone
In the deepest chasm of them all
I looked for an end to my plight
And at that moment my tears they fell
As I felt the Glow of life
And It welled up inside
like a fountain spring forgotten
I thought it had dried
but I was mistaken
This source of strength and beauty
that lives inside our hearts
Survives the darkest moments
No matter how cold or dark
The burdens of life can be so heavy
But life itself will carry you
It'll fly you over mountains
And up into the sky of blue
